Our popular concert of macabre masterpieces returns with favorite symphonic classics inspired by the frightful and fantastical pieces. Due to the current health conditions, this year we will be doing a virtual presentation of our Spooky Symphony.
Musical highlights from the performance include movie themes and eerie classics, for young audiences. This spectacular program is appropriate for the entire family, and all are encouraged to watch the presentation in costume.

Join us for a virtual, musical experience featuring the winners of our prestigious annual concerto competition. These young talented musicians from South Florida perform as soloists accompanied by a string ensemble from the Alhambra Orchestra.
In addition to the solo pieces featuring tomorrow’s classical stars, see interviews, plus additional pieces by the orchestra’s string and wind ensemble prepared exclusively for this occasion.

Experience a new program, part of our online series, curated by Alhambra Orchestra and performed by our chamber orchestra musicians. A string ensemble from The Alhambra Orchestra, directed by Daniel Andai, collaborates with Miami Collegium Musicum in two masterpieces: Schubert’s “Mass in G” and Beethoven’s “Elegischer Gesang.” Donald Oglesby directs the choir in this remote recording.
The orchestra will also present songs in instrumental form, including “Fantasia on Greensleeves” and “Music of the Night.” Lyrical, lush and lovely– tune in for this concert.

Join your Alhambra Orchestra for a virtual season finale of gigantic proportions. The curtain opens with Daniel Andai and Ciro Fodere as the soloists for Mendelssohn’s “Double Concerto,” accompanied by Alhambra Orchestra strings.
Concert also includes Mozart’s Quintet for Piano and Winds, and two lovely string orchestra works: “Chrysanthemums” by Puccini and “Andante Festivo” by Sibelius. Join us for the culmination of a phenomenal online virtual series season!
